Fixing a Photo Session

Last week I posted of the NYC skyline and I asked you to help me fix it further. I mean I already ran it through Lightroom but I knew it needed more help. You gave me some great suggestions. Here are just a few from both this blog and Google+:

These are great suggestions. I tried to put them to the test in this screen cast.

This week we spent our photography begins photo fix session working on a sunrise photo of the New York City building scene. We did both a black-and-white version and a beautiful color version. Thanks for all of your great tips.

And finally here are the two final photos. What do you think?

Constructive Criticism Photo of the Day

Last week I spent some time in Central Park with the great photographer Trey Ratcliff. We were shooting a piece on the basics of photography. At one point Trey wandered, as he is good at doing, over to a group of painters who were painting random park settings. We both shot the same scenes. I was about to say that we both shot the same photos but that would be a lie. What do you think? Constructive criticism welcome.
